In September, 2006, the Central Nebraska Economic Development, Inc was awarded $590,000 by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development to provide owner-occupied rehabilitation services to 20 homes in four counties in North Central Nebraska. These four counties include: Boyd, Keya Paha, Rock and Howard.  Rehabilitation services will be provided to address housing needs such as weatherization and energy efficiency, accessibility and housing quality.  Interested rural and community homeowners who reside in Springview and Keya Paha County may request information from:

The Keya Paha County Foundation was formed in 2004 and operates under the Nebraska Community Foundation.  The purpose of the Keya Paha County Foundation is to encourage and facilitate benevolent gift-giving to be used toward the betterment of the community and county.
